The voice was amused, and its owner, despite her words, was scarcely more than a silhouette herself; as she walked closer, it became apparent that her clothes were entirely black, and the hat tilted down over her face likewise.

There was a fleeting gleam of dim light on metal, and the low scraping sound of a sword being returned to its sheath. "No worries," the newcomer added, and grinned widely, reaching up to push her glasses back up the bridge of her nose. "This was where you were supposed to be, and no Sue worth her salt'd be caught dead in a coat like that."

She shook back the sleeves of her own as she spoke; it was a heavy affair, and was, of course, black. "This ought to be a good time," she mused. "Wonder what kind of mucking about with spacetime threw this monster up... I'm Lycaenion, by the way."
