The library where I work had me shelving business directories recently, and one of the names stuck out to me.
Canon City, Colorado.
I have no idea what we'd use it for, but I think that would be the perfect place for some kind of PPC presence, whether in-fic or as a Gathering site. Has any of us been there, and so been able to describe the place?
There's a resturant (or at least, a cafe) called Thorntree Terrace. I cracked up every time I saw it.

... the Board on Geographic Names officially added a tilde over the n, making it technically Cañon City. So speaks Wikipedia.
Nevertheless! Given that the Canon Protection Initiative already has one official residence on World One (ie, the New Cal city), an office in the US would be perfectly acceptible. All we need now is for someone to canonise it...

... when the New Caledonia city was founded, some of us were thinking it'd be nice to have a PPC PO Box in New Cal to send postcards and stuff to. For various reasons that's ridiculous, but if anyone happens to live close to Canon City, it could be a revivable idea...
